Last week (11th April) it was confirmed that NHS Trusts had missed the nationally set target to admit, discharge or transfer 76% of patients within 4 hours of arriving at A&E by March 2024
Between April 1st 2023 and March 31st 2024, we received 365 enquiries to our helpline. These were a combination of phone call messages (42), feedback through our website (142) and emails (126). All enquiries are handled by two experienced, trained and DBS checked Healthwatch volunteers.
This document describes the health and social care projects that Healthwatch Brighton and Hove has worked on during the past year and those we determined that we were unable to take forward for various reasons. In May 2023, Healthwatch were invited by the University Sussex Hospitals Trust (UHSx) to attend an Emergency Department Redevelopment Engagement workshop, to read the full report click here.
