Healthwatch in Sussex is the local independent watchdog for health and care and we would like to hear about your most recent experience of eConsult, including what works well and where it could be improved.

In June this year, after seven years with Healthwatch, I will be moving on.
I have really enjoyed my time at Healthwatch, working with our lovely staff team, Board and fantastic volunteer team. I have seen Healthwatch build its reputation in the city and having earned much respect from stakeholders and the public.

We consider our volunteers as part of our extended team. We could not have achieved half of what we do, without your dedication, help and hard work. You have all contributed to enabling better health and social care services and more access for service users across Brighton and Hove.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions like you make across the UK through volunteering in their communities.

Brighton & Hove’s children’s services have been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by an Ofsted Inspection of Local Authority Children Services (ILACS).

New data, published last week, shows cases of whooping cough continue to increase with 1,319 cases confirmed in March. Whooping cough is known clinically as ‘pertussis’. Some maternity advice is provided below.
