About this event
Hearing women's voices
Organised by University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx), this event aims to amplify the voices of women in coastal communities in the UK, reflect the plurality of women’s experiences, and to identify the multiple intersecting dimensions of inequalities that are facing them in accessing healthcare and wellbeing services.
Participants will be women (inclusive definition), academics, clinicians, charitable workers and commissioners from coastal communities across the UK.
Where: Brighthelm Centre, BN1 1YD (central Brighton near Brighton train station)
When: Thursday 25th September, 9:30am - 2pm
The organisers aim to conduct this event in a trauma-informed way. As such, they will co-develop ground-rules, invite participants to leave the room when they need to, hold co-regulation activities, and have a dynamic feedback space.
