Dedicated information for women and people using maternity services in Sussex

  • Due to the current pressures on local ambulance services, and some response times taking longer in some cases, unfortunately we have we have had to temporarily suspend home births.
  • Our maternity teams are working really hard to maintain continuity of care for mums-to-be/ pregnant people and whilst the location of the birth will be different, women will be cared for by the same team and, where possible, their usual midwife
