How do you feel about health and care services in Brighton and Hove?

That’s the question being asked by NHS Sussex as it launches a new survey to understand your views and experiences.

As the NHS builds up to its 75th anniversary on 5 July 2023, and the one-year anniversary of NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board and Sussex Health and Care Integrated Care System on 1 July 2022, health leaders are looking to understand your experiences of health and care services in Brighton and Hove.

The survey comes as health and care partners are developing a five year plan that will set out how they will make improvements to local services and the health of local people now and for the future. It comes after a strategy – Improving Lives Together(External link) – was launched in January 2023 and this sets out our ambitions for health and care across Sussex over the next five years. The Shared Delivery Plan that is in development will outline the actions that are being taken to make this ambition a reality.

The findings of this survey will support the development of the Shared Delivery Plan and the further work in key priority areas including emergency care, elective care, primary care, and mental health.

People also have an opportunity to have a say at a range of community events across Sussex in May and June.

The survey takes around 5 minutes to complete, and will close on 31 May 2023.
