This event is held by Possability People
Possability People is a charity that focuses on empowering people with lived experience to be actively involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of services that impact their lives. Since 2021, Possability People has been commissioned to support lived experience co-production across the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme. In this role, the charity facilitates the meaningful participation of individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges, ensuring their voices are heard and their insights are integrated into the development and improvement of mental health services.
Through co-production, Possability People helps to shape services that are more responsive, accessible, and relevant to the needs of those they serve, promoting diversity and inclusion, and improving outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness.
They believe that people who have experienced mental health services are well placed to inform decision-makers about what worked well or what worked less well for them. By sharing this feedback, commissioners and other people planning services have better information to develop and improved what they do.
