Are you concerned about your family’s eating habits? Would you like to learn about healthy eating, cook some tasty meals and play games together?
Family Shape Up and Cook is a programme from Brighton and Hove Food Partnership for children aged between 6-13 who’re above their ideal weight and their families. This programme is dietitian led and run with Albion in the Community. You will learn about different healthy eating and nutrition topics each week; including fussy eating, portion sizes and fats and sugars.
You will cook up a new and exciting menu every week and everyone gets a chance to try new out new recipes and taste new foods. There are also fun activities and a chance for the kids to play games with the coach from Albion in the Community.
The next programme starts on Tuesday 9th January 4.30pm to 6.30pm and will run for 6 weeks at City Coast Centre Portslade.
The programme is open to all eligible families in Brighton and Hove. It’s fun and free – plus all food is provided.
