Wednesday 11th November, 2020 - 10:00 to 12:00

About this event

The first session will be on Self - Harm in Context - this workshop will consider what leads a person to use self-harm, building empathy and understanding, so that you can respond helpfully.

Designed specifically in response to the challenges of Covid 19, these workshops offer an opportunity for continuing professional development in accessible, 2-hour bite sized chunks.

They have been developed to either stand alone or complement each other, with a 15% discount if you choose to attend all 3 in the series.

Numbers of participants are kept low, to ensure maximum opportunities for you to participate and ask questions.

Each workshop costs £40, and comes with a resource of handouts and signposting information to complement your learning.

Self-Injury Support has 30 years’ experience in delivering high quality self-harm education to a wide variety of settings and participants. Our approach is participative and reflective, and is focused on bringing the voice of people who use self-harm into the room, building empathy and confidence for supporters.
