ADHD Right to Choose services

NHS Sussex is aware of concerns regarding a recent change to a provider of ADHD services in England. They recognise the impact this situation may have on patients and families and are working closely with partners to manage this safely and effectively.

Their priority is to maintain high clinical standards and continuity of care for patients.

What’s changed?

Holistic ADHD Solutions Ltd has been required to temporarily suspend services. This action has been taken as a precaution to ensure that people’s care remains safe. NHS Sussex are not aware of concerns about the quality of individual patient care. ADHD.Net previously delivered ADHD services under the national Right to Choose pathway.

What Sussex is doing for affected patients

NHS Sussex is working urgently to ensure care continues without further interruption by supporting transfer of all Sussex patients currently on the waiting list or receiving care to an alternative provider – Psicon – including those currently in active treatment or medication management.

You do not need to take any action at this stage. You will be contacted directly about your transfer to this service.

They are also sending out information to all GP practices to make sure they are aware of the situation and to provide them with the necessary information to support patients.

NHS Sussex want to again acknowledge how much distress this may have caused and assure you that they are working as quickly as possible to find the right support for all patients affected. They understand how important continuity of ADHD treatment is, and are committed to ensuring you receive the care and medication you need as quickly as possible.
