Healthwatch Brighton and Hove six-month Performance Report (April 1st 2023 to September 30th 2023)
Our six-month performance report demonstrates what we have achieved between April 1st 2023 and September 30th 2023.
Headlines:
- Performed an Enter and View visit to the maternity ward at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
- Held a stall at the Brunswick Square festival providing an opportunity to hear about people’s views and experiences of NHS services.
- Received 184 information line enquiries with the main areas being making a complaint about any health or social care service or treatment, followed by enquiries about accessing an NHS dentist and difficulties in accessing a GP appointment.
- 16 reports published with 20 recommendations.
- Engaged 796 people in reports (excluding helpline).
- 4 newsletters produced.
- 50 Board meetings attended.
- 299 decision-making meetings attended (excluding Board).
- 9,600 website page views.
- Includes two appendices – (1) Healthwatch Brighton and Hove equalities data from April 1st 2022 to September 30th 2023, compared to the 2021 census. (2) Our workplan for projects underway and under consideration.
