New research explores vaccine confidence amongst people from African, Bangladeshi, Caribbean, and Pakistani backgrounds. Healthwatch England want to understand these barriers to ensure key lessons are taken forward for future public health campaigns.

From February 13th 2021, Healthwatch Brighton and Hove explored people’s experiences and views about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Healthwatch Brighton and Hove regularly evaluates its projects and reviews of health and care services to assess how effectively we have engaged with the general population of the city and its diverse communities.

We have published this follow on report to “A Good Send-Off” - a study which explored the experiences of people receiving end of life care.

The HOPs project was developed as part of the Healthwatch, Brighton and Hove City Council and NHS response to COVID-19 but is available to Brighton and Hove residents discharged from hospital whatever their condition, COVID related or not.
